Fieldway was appointed by St Mungo’s to deliver fire door remedials and replacements across 20 London properties, following previously completed fire door surveys.
Our FIRAS surveyors carried out detailed verification surveys to identify new or previously unknown breaches, expanding the programme where required. Using our OneTrace works management system, surveyors mapped each breach onto floor plans, providing precise locations for fire stoppers and joiners. This supported efficient delivery, accurate remedial works and improved fire safety for vulnerable residents.
What we did
Fieldway delivered fire door remedials and replacements across 20 St Mungo’s properties in London.
Many St Mungo’s properties accommodate people experiencing homelessness and residents with complex needs, including those recovering from addiction or with mental health concerns. All on-site staff completed Level 1 Safeguarding Training and Enhanced DBS checks. Fieldway also used detailed survey planning and safeguarding procedures to protect residents, operatives and the public while delivering works in occupied properties.
Resident Care and Communication
To support residents with complex needs, safeguarding and sensitive delivery were prioritised throughout the programme.
