What are the latest UK cladding compliance regulations?

Under the Building Safety Act 2022, building owners must register high-rise properties with the Building Safety Regulator and rectify unsafe cladding at no cost to leaseholders. Compliance now requires:
- Full cladding assembly testing, including insulation and substructure
- Use of materials with A2-s1, d0 or A1 fire resistance ratings
- A ban on combustible materials for high-rise residential buildings
A government consultation is underway to extend the combustible materials ban to buildings over 11 metres.
