Community Funds
Every colleague across the Axis CLC Group gets one paid working day a year to volunteer with a cause of their choosing. It’s a standing commitment, not a one-off gesture, aimed at creating a lasting, genuine difference in the communities we’re part of.
Giving back is part of how we work at Fieldway. Our people get involved in fundraising in all sorts of ways, from sponsored challenges to team events, and everything raised goes through our group charity, The Axis Foundation, to support small, local and genuinely impactful causes.
As the group’s philanthropic arm, the Axis Foundation supports small, local and impactful causes – many of which are chosen from communities we work within. Our registered charity passed £3 million in funding to over 350 causes.
We give young people an opportunity to start a genuinely valuable career, through placements, career talks, workshops, mentoring and apprenticeships, working with schools, colleges and universities to show this sector as a genuine career option.
Our social value work isn’t about running the biggest project, it’s about working with clients to find out what actually matters to their residents and the wider community, then funding that. And our social value commitment stretches beyond the money we give out through the Axis Foundation, to separate funding we set aside specifically to make a difference in the communities we work
