Fieldway upgraded the fire alarm system at Barton Moss Secure Care Centre for Salford City Council. The 20-bed facility provides secure accommodation for children under the Youth Custody Service.
Advanced fire alarm panels were installed with Hochiki detectors, call points and sounders in communal areas. Wagner aspirating detectors were installed within ducts serving sleeping areas to reduce the risk of interference. Works were delivered area by area, supported by detailed surveys, tailored RAMS, safeguarding measures, DBS checks and refresher safeguarding training.
