Hospitals and healthcare estates cannot simply close for fire safety works, so Fieldway plans every project around live clinical environments, working within NHS Health Technical Memoranda and Firecode guidance. From fire risk assessments to full compartmentation programmes, patients and staff stay safe without disruption to care.
Fieldway, part of the Axis CLC group, brings fire safety expertise to defence estates through the group’s work with the Ministry of Defence. Axis has delivered fire safety upgrades including 277 fire door replacements for VIVO Defence, protecting barracks, training centres and Service Families homes across the UK.
Schools, colleges and universities need fire safety work fitted around the academic calendar, not the other way round. Fieldway delivers active fire, passive fire and compliance programmes to DfE Good Estate Management standards, scheduling disruptive works for holidays wherever possible so learning continues uninterrupted.

Fieldway has delivered fire safety programmes across social housing for over 25 years, including a £4m upgrade to seven high-rise blocks for Wigan Council and an £11m scheme across nine blocks for Pendleton Together. Every project is planned around residents, keeping homes safe and habitable throughout the work.
