Fieldway was appointed by Wakefield and District Housing to supply and install approximately 200 fire door sets across social housing properties in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.
The programme included internal and external flat-entrance doors, glazed doors, doors with sidelights and fanlights, and storeroom doors. Fieldway scaled its directly employed operative resource according to workload, delivering an average of 30 fire door installations each week. Flexible, tenant-led appointments and proactive reminders helped achieve high access rates while minimising disruption.

Fieldway adapted appointments around residents’ commitments and lifestyles, while scaling operative resources to meet changing workloads and support efficient delivery.
